Global Reform in the International System

This week, following continued chaos in the international arena, the UN, with sponsorship from CERN, NAFTA, Disney, and Alphabet, has announced that they will be reorganizing the system with a series of reforms designed to “ensure the security and continuing stability” of the world order. The Director General, wearing a beautiful flowing robe of solid black, rasped to the General Assembly that the new Terran Empire “will have peace.”

The announcement was followed almost immediately by the unveiling of two global initiatives that will be the cornerstone of the new government: The International Oversight Advisory, which will take over the management of operations on the Cheyenne Mountain Complex’s Area 52 projects, as well as a new initiative that is currently only being called “Stardust.” New details are scheduled to be released in the coming days.

International reception has been mixed with some hailing the new system as the start of a new era in history. Others are concerned that the move might usher in the end for humanity. A noted Captain commented that “Some people think the future means the end of history. Well, we haven’t run out of history quite yet…People can be very frightened of change.”

For the moment, a new world is dawning, and the Pardee Periodical Journal of Global Affairs is excited to adopt new branding to match this change in our world’s governance and unveil our new logo, pictured above.
